Jeans and a white top can get repetitive after a while (and boring). So finding new ways to elevate those pieces and play with different silhouettes is always a mission I'm on. I've had this wrap top from Forever 21 (similar here and here) for years. Instead of throwing it on with a pair of skinny jeans and sandals like I usually do, I wanted to find a way to make it more current. This spring and summer frayed hems have made such a comeback (and can we talk about the uneven, mulit-wash ones? LOVE). So when I spotted these on New Look I instantly added them to my cart (similar here and here). They are so comfortable and fall at the perfect cropped length, which helps with the billowy, long-sleeve white top. But what is probably my favorite part about this look are, of course, the booties. These are so perfect and I have a feeling they're going to be on heavy rotation for seasons to come. The even better part? I didn't have to pay over $400 for the original designer ones to pull off the look. I grabbed these from Zara and they're on sale NOW so get em while you can for an even lower price! So the moral of the story here is: even if you've worn something countless times, you can always draw from today's trends to reinvent it and create brand new looks. You never know what tomorrow will bring in the world of fashion.
