Old Classic

A trend that just recently emerged back into the fashion scene are the ever-popular paisley bandanas. Way back when, I remember seeing these everywhere (i'll admit - I owned a few pairs of my own as well)! But I instantly loved the idea of tying them around your neck. This is just one of the different ways to wear them, but they give an outfit a whole new "pop" that I can definitely appreciate. Don't get me wrong, I love a good old necklace, but this is a classic piece. And the best part? I bought mine at Michael's for under $3! Yep. I love me some cheap accessories. On the other hand, I'm not a huge fan of patterns altogether. I prefer solid pieces from head to toe. But this addition to your outfit gives it so much more interest without being overbearing. I wanted to keep the bandana a focal point, so I paired a simple white button-down top with some Zara crop jeans (similar here). To compliment the edgy accessory, I added my black leather jacket from Topshop and a pair of black loafers. I can guarantee this will be a go-to look this summer!
